We are living in a time of unprecedented global reset, where multinational corporations and the legal industry have to think differently about their roles in society, their business models and what it means to be a human worker. Both chief legal officers and law firm leaders need to have the ability to horizon-scan and recalibrate risk in an instant.
Uniting a global community of innovative law firm leaders and chief legal officers, this one-day summit gave legal leaders deep insights into the future. The day covered how to manage geopolitics and an uncertain economy, technological revolution and shifting expectations of leadership with the assistance of FT editors and RSGI consultants, outstanding CLOs, law firm leaders, Harvard and Oxford University academics and AI experts.
Interactive sessions across the day provided a unique opportunity for legal leaders to discuss and help shape, not only their own response, but the response of the legal industry to the challenges of a new global age.
The summit coincides with the publication of the annual FT Business Legal Leaders Report, an investigation into the top lawyers working for major corporations and how they are using their influence and unique positions to help ensure the security, stability and sustainability of business. The profiled individuals were revealed at the evening networking drinks after the summit, with one invited to give the final keynote address of the day.
